Welcome to Glendermott Parish, at Altnagelvin, Londonderry.

Glendermott is a parish with a rich spiritual heritage, built upon by the faith of its people over the past 250 years, since the present church was built. Today our desire is to allow the faith to so shape and mould us that we are open and ready for all that God would lead us to in the future.

Our Parish motto is "Welcoming all in Jesus' Name", and is encouraged through our Welcoming Team. Glendermott is a parish where people matter, are cared for, and are encouraged to be involved in parish and community life. Our aim is to see that the faith becomes real, is nurtured and built up, and brought to maturity in the lives of our people.

Our overall purpose is faithfully to proclaim God's kingdom, and to live out the values and principles of the Kingdom within the local community. We believe it is as we do so, that we become strong and faithful witnesses to the Gospel of Christ, and useful in the service of God.

Parish life is built upon the foundations of Worship, Bible Study, Prayer, and Service. We encourage everyone to play a full and active part, so that all may be built up in faith and in service to others.
